On Tuesday 11th June 2019 at UX702 Meeting Room, 7th Floor, UX Building. The Research, Innovation and Partnerships Office (RIPO) and The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) organized a special seminar on “The Importance of Responsible Conduct in Fostering a Vibrant Research Culture” by Ms. Zoë H. Hammatt, Former Director, Division of Education Integrity, Office of Research Integrity, USA.
On this occasion, Dr. Kanyawim Kirtikara, Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, warmly welcomed everyone and presented a souvenir to Ms. Zoë H. Hammatt (our distinguished speaker). Then, the speaker led all participants to do some activities that could help them to understand international research culture. In the final part, the speaker gave a small lecture with some discussions. This is a helpful event for researchers, students and staff of KMUTT to realize the importance of research integrity, responsible conduct of research and how to prevent research misconduct.
