Won the ‘1st Runner-up’ award at the OIC Insurtech Award 2024
by 3rd year students of Robotics and Automation Engineering, Field Robotics Institute (FIBO), KMUTT, TeleHalfBies team

The “Carbon Neutral Insurance” project, a project to develop carbon credit insurance for clean energy equipment such as solar panels, using AI technology to assess and track the carbon credit yield that the equipment can produce, so that clean energy users are protected in the event that the equipment cannot produce carbon credits as expected due to damage or reduced efficiency, won the ‘1st Runner-up’ award in the OIC Insurtech Award 2024 competition.
From a total of 400 teams participating in the competition, both in the general category and in the student category, the student team from FIBO KMUTT was able to pass the selection process to the final 10 teams before the Final Pitching round, and was able to win the 1st runner-up award.
FIBO would like to congratulate the students on their project on data management and modeling that can assess the risks and yields of carbon credits. They received an award that reflects their potential in applying their knowledge to further development to promote the use of clean energy sustainably.
