King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi’s core missions are to develop a higher education system and learning organization; to produce a workforce for the nation’s development; to strengthen its research excellence; and to develop value-added innovations leading to the change and sustainability of the global society. To fulfill these missions, an establishment of allied collaboration in both public and private sectors is one of the university’s missions. By promoting and supporting research and innovation development with a variety of industrial sectors and by providing academic services, the university hopes to help increase its economic productivity both nationally and globally. The university views the industrial sector as an important partner in its activities to enhance innovation and increasing its competitiveness of the country in terms of economic productivity and human capital development.
