On Thursday, September 5, 2024, the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with Union TSL Co., Ltd., organized a training session on “Ink Formulation for Offset Printing.” The event was led by Dr. Tanatorn Tongsumrith and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nitus Tipsotnaiyana, faculty members of the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology. The training took place at the Honor Hall (8th Floor), Building S13, and Classroom CB30803 in the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.
The training was divided into two sessions. In the morning, there were lectures on the theory of “Fundamentals and Usage of Offset Printing” by Dr. Tanatorn Tongsumrith and “Computer Color Matching System” by representatives from Union TSL Co., Ltd. The afternoon session focused on hands-on practice using the Ink Formulation program, guided by the Union TSL Co., Ltd. team. The training received great interest and participation from the attendees, who gained valuable knowledge from both the theoretical and practical aspects of the session.
